I have two dogs of my own which I tether in the yard but adding more to the mix is a lot of back and forth and a fenced yard would be much easier. Just wondering if anyone has claimed anything like this and what sort of documentation you used? I also don't want it to seem like a personal expense passed off as business - is there anything I need to prove that I am claiming it for my Rover business?

He's either showing dominance or wanting attention. Tell him "down" gently push him down every time he does it. Routinely stopping the behavior should help reduce the amount that they do it. Getting them fixed helps as well. Both my dogs stopped humping almost immediately after being fixed!

Try a smaller crate (could be too big) and remove the bedding. She could be enjoying the "diaper effect" if you will. My puppy had the same issue, I removed any bedding and he just slept on the plastic floor of the kennel. I felt bad but he immediately stopped peeing in the crate.

I work full time and am a Rover sitter. Just be upfront with your potential clients. If they don't think that it's a good fit and they prefer someone that is home all day then they will find another sitter. They'll appreciate your honesty and maybe book you for a weekend sitting job when you'll be home!

Mostly they are trying to be the dominant "dog" in the relationship. I found once my male dogs were nuetured the behavior stopped shortly after due to less hormones. They also could be trying to get a reaction from you.
