How do you find out if you've been approved as a sitter? How will you be contacted?
It's been a while since I was approved, and there have been a lot of changes to the site since then, but when I signed up, it took just a few days to be approved after I finished my profile, and I believe I got an email from the Rover team.

Just checking in to see if you have been approved yet. Personally, I signed up for the Dog Walking and Drop-In visits services and it was a fast and easy experience getting it verified and checked out. The background check took about a day, and the review by Rover took about 24 hours as well. They will let you know via email once your profile is live.

My background check has taken more than 7 days! Is that normal??? :/
It's ironic that you get a message saying that there is something wrong with the photo so it can't be approved and emphasize that this is a good test of how fast you can respond and address issues quickly. Then you fix it and never hear back from them. It has been more than 24 hours. Shouldn't the expectation of quality and timeliness go both ways?
