What's the best way to set up a dog walking schedule for example every Tuesday and Thursday and when do I get paid?

Has anyone booked a client for dog walking only? How did you get it started? Any tips to make it a simple process for the owner and myself? We've agreed upon every Tuesday and Thursday one 30 minute walk. How do we schedule this and when will I get paid/the customer be charged?

Good question...I'm running into the same scenario right now. Deb A. has answered this quite thoroughly.

Yes, and each of those clients is different. What works well for one may not for another, I'd suggest you could set it up weekly with a total for 2 walks and include the dates the walks are for in the message. (something like this is for Rover's walks on this Tuesday date & Thursday date. Looking forward to it.) That way the customer's card gets pinged just once per week upon booking, you get paid about 3 days after the second walk of each week, and if the client's needs change, you won't have to adjust much. Re-booking future weeks visits is pretty easy. From dashboard, past customers, you can again set up a quote with message re. services.

To add to this, Rover's system allows you to select specific dates for dog walking now. Previously you had to select a date range and itemize walks (so you'd book Tues-Thurs, and add on two walks); now you can click specific days (Tues and Thurs, but not Wed) and adjust the number of walks per day (1). Both you and the client can adjust the days and number of walks until the booking is confirmed.
