Posting my profile and discount code to specific page on Facebook?

I belong to my county's buy/sell/trade (closed group) page on Facebook, and would like to put my Rover profile, along with my 20% discount code to attract new clients in my area. I've already emailed Rover help about this, but has anyone else successfully uploaded their profile page, etc to a specific Facebook page? If so, how? Using the Facebook link from the dashboard only allows me to post to Facebook in general, not to a specific page. What am I doing wrong? *UPDATE* I tried again and was able to successfully post both my URL and my discount code! I was previously trying to post the codes first, then add my "sales pitch" following the links - which did not work. My post is now up and running - YAY!

I also have not done this. However, have you considered providing your custom URL (website address) that takes clients directly to your profile? Another option to consider is post something on F.B. and also provide that link.

Thanks, Deb, but I had tried that and it didn't "take". I wanted my URL to post as a link, not an address for someone to copy/paste in another page. I couldn't get anything to post at all, so I think I'm doing something wrong.

I don't have the answer, but what if you posted to Craigslist and then embedded the link to your Craigslist ad?

Thanks, Carmen...but I don't have a Craigslist ad. I was considering it but my hubby thought it wasn't a good idea due to fears of phishing scam/responses to Craigslist pages I keep reading about.
