I wondered about this too, when I first discovered this community a short while ago, and I clicked on the FAQ link, which I've posted at the bottom. Here's the relevant section:

How does voting work?

When a question or answer is upvoted, the user who posted it will gain points, which are called Treats. These points serve as a rough measure of the community trust in that user. Various moderation tasks are gradually assigned to users based on those points.

Looking for more detail? Here's an example. Say you ask an interesting question or leave a helpful answer — your input will be upvoted. On the other hand, if the answer is misleading, it will be downvoted. Each vote in favor will generate 10 points, and each vote against will subtract 10 points. There is a limit of 2000 points that can be accumulated for a question or answer per day.

It's a measure of the amount and quality of your contribution to the forum. As your posts get upvoted by the community or your answers get selected as correct, you'll get more treats.

Hi my name is Dawn and I was also wondering about how the

treats worked. Also, can you tell me how you get more and when we get them posted? ThankYou Dawn-
