What are some dog-safe laundry detergents?

My dog is always buried beneath blankets but am concerned that maybe the detergent I use has some chemicals my dog could do without.

Theoretically, the blankets should be safe with any detergent, but if you want, you could switch to one of the dye-free, scent-free detergents for people who have sensitivities, or you could use a detergent made for infant clothing and bedding (Dreft? I think that's the name; it's been a long time.).

If your washer is doing its job, the type of detergent won't matter (allergies aside). You have clothing and linens touching your skin constantly. Even if your dog is spending all their time bundled up, they still have fur between them and the blankets. No detergent, no matter how "friendly" it is is good for your skin; the job of the washer is to remove the detergent, along with all the dirt and grime it collects. You'd know long before your dog if there were an issue.
