I had a customer inquire to me to make sure their coupon code worked, but I can't see that it did. I'm guessing I can't because it wouldn't affect the pay I would receive. Is there a way to do it other than just to book and hope it works? :)
You're right. The coupon code never affects the sitter's pay negatively. However, if they use your code and book their first Rover service with another sitter, then you'll receive a $10 referral bonus. The client can see the code applied at checkout (If it's the first time booking on Rover), but if they have problems Rover Support can help out.
I always get emails from Rover letting me know someone has used it, doesn't matter if I booked them or they booked with someone else.
Also on your dashboard on the left side under the amount of money you have booked is a big green button that says View Payments & Promo Codes if you click that, then other, you can see when your code has been used for booking with a sitter that is not yourself.
