i haven't had much experience with dogs, how could i improve my experience so people would want to hire me?

You can try offering to volunteer at local animal shelters or rescue organizations, or even offer to foster animals that need a temporary home if you are able. You can also watch dog care and dog training videos and read about various dog issues to beef up your knowledge base. To get more interest in your Rover services, I'd recommend looking at other sitters' profiles in your area and making sure your rates are comparable (preferably lower, at least initially, depending on demand in your area). Also, look through their profiles and figure out what you liked and didn't like to inform your own profile and what's included. Make sure you model after good sitters - ones who are highly rated with as many badges and reviews as possible. That's my two cents. Hope it helps.

Hi Erika, I briefly read your profile. I'd suggest that you add all the photos of dogs you've helped care for, including those of friends and family. Also, I'd suggest you delete any negative statements and focus on what you can do, want to do, and have done. Like you said above: Animals are your passion. That should be one of your first sentences. You can then say you do not have any dogs (or pets) of your own right now. Then, you can share the story about BB and any other dogs that have been in your life. If you don't have photos, I'd suggest you describe them: the breeds, sizes, ages, and anything that paints a picture. After you update the profile, use Rover tools (found on dashboard) to start spreading the word about your services.
