I just lost a booking because http://Rover.com no longer accepts PayPal and requires clients to save their credit card information on the website. My client does not want her credit card information saved on any website.
Could you suggest she calls Rover Support? They will accept the credit card information over the phone. I'd guess Rover Support still enters it into a computer at their headquarters, but at least the data would be centralized. Maybe it would help to understand and alleviate her concerns if possible. Personally, I'd rather have credit cared info saved, which offers much more consumer protection, than access to PayPal which has bank info.
Oh and to get Rover's answer why they don't accept PayPal, I think you'd get a more timely response by contacting them directly.
There is no phone # to call support, only choice is Email.
I want to pay with a Visa, but it is requiring I store my card information. This is a terrible idea. Unsafe, don't want to do it.
