Is there a way to put details about a dog you're sitting on their profile so future sitters know what you've learned about them?

Is there a way to put details about a dog you're sitting on their profile so future sitters know what you've learned about them?

I'm dog-sitting a dog that is food aggressive, and generally just doesn't like dogs. He did fine outside & at the meet and greet, but as soon as his parents were gone inside he has been growling at my puppy, and 5 yr old dog. The puppy I get, the dog is an 8 year old medium/large breed with obvious arthritis and my puppy is, well, a puppy. But he displays aggressive behavior when both get near him. It's fine for now, it's a very short-term emergency stay so I'm not worried about me, but I'd like to be able to inform future sitters about the things I know about him, so they can decide it it's worth it to them.

Nope, unfortunately not. Lots of sitters want this and have asked about this though, as some pet parents unfortunately and inevitably lie about their dogs before a stay or the dogs are not as expected.

Rover will send you something to fill out about the dog though at the end of the stay, which only you and Rover will see. Might as well let Rover know about this dog's aggression in case something comes up in the future.

At the end of the stay you might want to inform the pet parents that you think an environment without other dogs would be better their dog in the future. You might want to be careful with this because some pet parents are super sensitive about this kind of thing and you don't want to risk a bad review, especially since you're just starting out. You would have to make sure your tone was very pleasant and not negative or accusatory and to make sure your phrasing puts the emphasis on a better environment for the dog and not his flaws. But this would really be your only avenue of preventing this kind of thing for another sitter down the line.

It's possible the parents have never observed this, so they may not have lied. In addition to review, I'd suggest you fill out Review & the dog Notes that only you can see, for quick reference if the pet parents ever contact you again or you ever want to share the inside scoop w/another sitter.

Yes, they may not have lied which is why I said 'or the dogs are not as expected' :) Perhaps should have phrased it more clearly.
