Hi! I can't seem to figure out how to change the area for my services. I've had a few jobs offered that are just a smidgen out of my way so I want to make the amount of miles my services extend to smaller. Thanks so much!
I am in a similar situation, I would like to make my service area just a little smaller. Is there another way to do this? I don't see any preferences where this indicates.
Under Services/Rates, go to Preferences, scroll down to the section "House Sitting, Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking" and that's where you'll see you can change the number of miles/maximum distance you're willing to travel. (https://www.rover.com/account/profile...)
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like the app lets you distinguish between drop-in visits and house sitting. I would travel much further for a house sitting appointment then I would for a quick drop in or quick match walk.
I just had to do this because I kept getting requests farther away than I would like. You cannot do it in the app. You have to log in on an internet browser. I was able to do it on Safari on my phone still. Go to services and individually change each service area. Hope this helps!
