Socials meetups for dog sitters?

There is a website called Meet Up

While you probably wouldn't be able to find a group in your area for only sitters, I'm sure you could find a few animal friendly groups that have other sitters as members. Worse case, it just gives you an opportunity to get involved in your community, meet new people, and hand out lots of business cards!

In the Phoenix and Metro area there are a lot of "Meet Up Groups" for Everything including dog owners to get together and share a lot of information and planned dog friendly hiking trails. If you could find one or more to join, you would have a Great connection to lots of potential new customers. They do charge a membership fee. We also have an "Agility Group". To join that your dog(s) have to go through and pass certain tests. Looks like a Lot of fun but much to expensive for me.
