How is address provided?

Can Rover customers see the itinerary provided? Do we have to send them our address in a message or is there somewhere they can look to find it once they have booked?

I always talk to potential customers before we set a M&G so I can get detailed information about their dog(s) and my closest cross streets. I have done M&G's only to find out their dog isn't a good fit or I am to far away from them. That way they can check out other sitters on the rover site. I host in my home. If it sounds like a good fit for both of us then I give them my phone # and address. I didn't know it was available to them and I do agree that they probably don't look at it. There is a lot of information on our pages and it is all important for their information. "I" think after reading a few of the sitters pages it gets confusing for them so they "skim" for their primary need for their pet. Kathleen D.

Okay it seems that customers can see the itinerary, but often don't think to look there. My current customer said Rover didn't provide my address after the booking, but it was in the itinerary. I wonder if this should be more obvious.

Your relevant personal information is available as soon as the stay is booked (phone numbers for both you and the client and the address where services are to be rendered) like you found in the itinerary. But you're right, customers don't usually look at that (though they are responsible for providing most of the information it contains) because it appears to be instructions for the sitter.

I have almost always given my address prior to this point since I hold M&Gs at my home. I also like sending it by message because if they have messages going to their cell phone, often their phone will recognize the address and allow them a quick link to map it. This is far easier than having to retrieve the address from another document and enter it into their mapping program manually.
