How to set up twice-a-week dog walking sessions with owner?

Hello! A dog owner has asked me to walk her dog twice a week, but we aren't too sure how to set it up through Rover. Also, she originally submitted the request as dog-sitting, so is there a way to redo it without canceling and starting over with a new request? This is because the rate is set at dog-sitting, but I want to set it to the dog-walking rate. Thanks in advance for your help!

What I did for a dog walking job was to edit the price portion of the stay details.

Go to your Inbox and click on the section of the page that represents the conversation with this client. In the upper left section of the next page that opens is a dark grey box that contains some of the details of the stay.

Click on the Edit link that is next to the Stay Price. A new window should open on top entitled Edit Charges. What I did is change the per night rate to $0. Then checkmark the box to the left of Dog Walking and enter in the total number of walks you will be doing during the stay. (For example, if the people will be gone for a week, and you are walking the dog twice a day, two days during the week, you would put "4" in the box for the number of walks.)

Hope this helps!

Ditto what Shannon said. Discuss with the owner how far in advance they want to book/how frequently you want to get paid (I'd probably recommend weekly or biweekly requests), then create a stay request that covers all the dates you will be with the dog. So if you'll be giving walks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and you want to book for two weeks at a time, make sure your stay request starts on or before the first Tuesday and goes through the second Thursday. This way you'll have access to all Rover's perks whenever you're with the dog. Then adjust the daily rate to $0 and add the number of walks you'll be providing during that span. You can then use the "Book Again" button from any past stays with this client to create a new request for each span.
