Why am I not showing up in search results?

I had an influx of requests my first week having an account. Most were for overlapping days. I asked everyone a few questions and discussed some things, and most owners did not respond after a few messages (I assume they messaged a bunch of sitters in the area), so I had to achieve them. The only one that ended up working out cancelled a few days before the stay. So now I have had my profile about a week and I'm no longer showing up in search results at all! I used to show up on the first page. How can I remedy this? Obviously the answer is to get more clients, but how can I do this if I'm not showing up in results at all?

This has happened to me also. Here's my advice:

When searching for yourself, be sure to be logged out. Also,if there are multiple pages for your areaa, check pages further down.

New sitters are automatically pushed to the top of the page. If there are several new sitters in your area, that may be a reason you have been moved down.

It may just take some time to move up the ladder again.

If you think there has been a technical mistake, contact Rover.com (I did this several times). I find that my ranking is wildly different whether I'm logged on via my phone or my computer. Crazy.

Good luck!

Carmen's advice is right on...I searched Boston, MA and found your profile on page 2 #15.

I 100% agree with Carmen and her tips on this. Also, double check your availability calendar and make sure that those dates are not still blocked out, as sometimes they still block on stays that were canceled, which is an easy fix (just label them as available!). Hope this gets fixed soon for you!
