Why aren't my rates being charged accurately?

I have my nightly rate set to $70/night. But my latest pending cat sitting booking - the rate they are being charged is $49/night. I want to charge $70, not $49 - where is this breaking down? Is $70 only for dogs? And cats are cheaper? -Ellen

This is your profile and your cat rate is $49 a night. You need to adjust it.

House Sitting $70.....

Holiday Rate per night $84....

Cat Care per night $49....

Yes, the $70/night is for a dog. But I see you are only advertising that you sit cats., which is kind of difficult to do with Rover's rate table. As Lenka advised, you need to make the cat house sitting rate $70 as well if that's your principal target customer.

I have no idea if you have the ability to set a holiday rate for cat care only, so that is something to look into. Moreover, you need to look at your cat care rates for drop-ins as well to ensure they're correct since Rover treats them like an add-on to dog care. Definitely no ideal for your situation, and something you should pass along to Rover Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team], not that they are responsible to sitters' needs ever.
