It appears from your profile that you are new to Rover. In that case you just have to be patient. One possible drawback is that you say you have cats. That might put off some finicky dog owners if their dog doesn't get along with cats.

Read through this board to get ideas on marketing and improving your profile. There are several ways shown on your dashboard for marketing yourself. Have you checked other sitters in your area to see how your rate compares? It's suggested that you price yourself a bit lower at first, then gradually raise your rates as you get more clients.

I have only been a sitter since December so I don't know what the usual traffic is like this time of year, but I imagine that with school starting back up there may not be as much need for pet sitters because fewer families are traveling.

Hi Anibel: I know I'm late in the game on this response, but has Rover business picked up for you? (I hope so!) I hope you don't mind, but I took a peek at your profile and it looks fine to me. I also noticed that you can give inject-able medications to pets, which I feel you should some how highlight in your profile description. I personally cannot give injections, and feel I might be missing out on potential clients because of that. Maybe you can say that you had a pet (or even better, sat for a pet) that required (X amount of) injections per day, so you have experience giving injections? I think it is a skill/experience that should be mentioned.
