I personally tip people who works for me - like my hairdresser, my server, my dog walker. So it's up to you to decide if you are a person who tips or doesn't tip for services. If the app doesn't allow you to tip, or more likely you are unable to find the option, it's good to call Rover and tell them to add the tip, or you can tip cash or talk to your sitter. Good luck.

Absolutely, especially if they performed a service that met your expectations. Most people who use Rover aren't aware of how much Rover takes from the sitter so it is especially nice at this time of year.

In my opinion, service providers get tipped all the time. You tip the person who does your hair, who valet parks your car, who brings you a cocktail or a cup of coffee, and the list goes on. Anyone who takes care of a dear member of your family should receive the same consideration I would think.

I have already submitted my review but it won’t allow me to tip my sitter. How can I do that please?

Yes. Please. tips are very appreciated. It's a pleasant surprise and we do so much for the customers pets that they don't even realize. Such as training while walking. Brining extra treats and when meeting others dogs knowing if to meet that dog or not. Knowing dog behaviors. Etc.

It is optional. They are paid unlike many tipped positions. It you would like to give more that it entirely up to you.

"They are paid unlike many tipped positions"? Who is out there working for tips but no pay? Although it is true, minimum wage is pretty close to nothing.
