You would have to contact different sitters and see their comfort level. Some individuals may have experience doing this and others may not. Always be honest with the sitter about what your pet will need. We appreciate when you are honest and tell us exactly what the pet will need!

For cats I can recommend http://catinaflat.com because they have a large community including sitters with medical training.

The sitter's ability to administer meds (oral and injectable) will be shown in their profile under "Additional Skills." You may also see that some sitters will prominently display the fact that they're vet techs and would definitely have that ability.

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to search using this filter, which means you either have to read through a lot of profiles or ask Rover Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] for assistance since they may have such capabilities. Regardless, when you contact any potential sitters, you should discuss your cat's specific needs. It is always a good idea to have potential sitters over for a Meet & Greet, where you would discuss such things.
