Is there a way to share reviews of owners?

I recently sat a dog who was not house-trained despite what the owner said. Even though we went outside every couple hours (and she peed every time we went out), she still came in and immediately went to pee in my basement and pooped on a rug. The owner did not seem the least bit surprised or apologetic about this and just told me to put down newspaper, which her dog missed every single time. Plus, the owner sprung extra medication on me as she was dropping the dog off despite me asking her multiple times if her dog had any particular needs. I know I can keep my own notes on this stay, but is there a way to share reviews so sitters know what they're in for with certain owners? If an owner isn't honest in their description of their dog, is there a way to try to prevent these sorts of things from being sprung on fellow sitters?

The ability to see reviews of other dogs has been mentioned here numerous times. However, I doubt it is anything that Rover would be interested in providing to its sitters. Rover gains nothing and could lose revenue because customers cannot find a sitter. Better that sitters are kept in the dark about a dog's behavioral issues. Rover's business model probably assumes that some sitter out there won't mind a dog that destroys his/her home, so let the customer keep trying from the pool of available sitters.

Unfortunately at this point there is no way to share your concerns with other sitters except indirectly through Rover. I'm not sure if the Rover sitter facebook group would be open to sharing this kind of information, but it is another source of support for Rover sitters.

This might be something you want to ask the Rover.com team as a future enhancement possibility.

I empathize. I too have had dogs that "were house trained" that had numerous accidents inside, despite being walked upon arrival and every couple hours. In at least one case, it was due to nerves as I watched that dog many times after that and those problems have not repeated. However, I have had other dogs that are not used to doing their business while leashed and all my walks are leashed. With every learning lesson, I make certain to ask more questions prior to arrival (sometimes before meet & greet, some at meet & greet, some with an update closer to start of stay)
