If i need to cancel due to medical issue can i get a refund?

My husband has a medical issue and we may need to cancel our trip and Rover reservation . Rover is booked and paid at this time. Can we get a refund/

The previous answer is correct, going strictly “by the book”.

However, You may choose to contact the sitter and let them know what’s happening. In the interest of building a long term loyal relationship, they may choose to make an exception to their cancellation policy.

The cancellation policy is meant to compensate sitters who are holding a space for a booked pet and then can’t fill it upon cancellation. So if they don’t waive it, hopefully you’ll understand that is why. .

The reason doesn't matter. It is dependent on when you initiate the cancellation and what your sitter's chosen cancellation policy is.
