What to do if a booking request is made after 7 day cancellation period has already begun?

We found a sitter and had the meet and greet. By the time we made the final booking request it was only 3 days until the day of the scheduled drop ins. The policy is 7 day cancellation but we did not book within a 7 day time frame so it would have been impossible to cancel within 7 days prior. Even when I made the initial request for availability it was less than 7 days. Will I be able to get a full refund if I need to cancel? Things are not looking good for the trip we scheduled 😞
