Impatient prospective clients?

Lately I've been losing business because the client goes to someone else before hearing from me. This has happened when it only took me about 5 minutes to reply lately but never had this issue before. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm wondering if some change in the UI affected their behavior or if people just got more impatient lately.

The Rover# platform encourages people seeking pet services to contact another person and as soon as it sent to them to contact another person, And so on. The result is that someone may send out half a dozen or more messages and then select the person quickly. This is because some sitters are not as quick to respond as others and they don’t want the pet owner kept waiting.

I would not let it bother me if someone selected a sitter five minutes later because that indicates no meet and greet was done, which may end up as a very bad match.

You may have not been the client's selected sitter but one of the backups Rover selected
