Can I contact a specific rover.com petsitter that a friend uses and highly recommends or do I have to go through the website's search function?

I'd like to use a petsitter from http://rover.com that my friend recommends but I don't see a way to search for her specifically. I went through pages and pages of petsitters and did not see her name. I'd like to look her up instead of sifting through a million options. Is there a way to do that?

There's no way to search by name. Either have your friend forward a link to the sitter's profile page or call Rover Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] for help.

Be sure to tell them that you, as a customer, think the service needs this functionality. You are not the first to ask this question or notice this problem.

I remembered you, Karen, previously provided this tip (maybe it still works?): Google the sitter's first name and last name initial, then put in the city/state and the word Rover.

I don't think that works anymore. Walt posted about how Rover did something so that it won't work. I just tried it myself with another sitter's name/location. So Rover is actively working against customers' needs.
