How Do You Define a Fully Enclosed Fenced Yard?

If a sitter says that they have a enclosed fenced yard what does that imply - we visited a sitter where it seemed to be untrue - as one side did NOT have a fence (just a gate with large spaces between the bars - and furthermore they had an in-ground fish pond which was a major hazard for puppies - the sitter actually said that one dog jumped in

Are you asking Rover, the company? If so, they do not moderate this forum and will not provide you with an answer here,

I expect my definition of a fully enclosed fenced yard agrees with yours. Unfortunately, sitters and pet owners do interpret many things differently. Case in point is house broken. I define it as the dog has been trained to only go outside, but I've had numerous clients who think their dogs' usage of pee pads meets that definition.

Unfortunately, sitters do not really work for Rover, and Rover leaves all decisions about appropriateness up to the two parties to the transaction. Each has to do their own due diligence. That is why it is so important to do a Meet & Greet and see where your dog will be boarded.

You may opt to call Rover customer support:[Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]. The information written in the profiles is sitter provided and largely not validated by rover. That is a great example of why a meet and greet is so important.
