I'm a pet owner and new to Rover. Why can't I set up a Meet & Greet without selecting specific travel dates?

You must set-up a booking request even if the dates aren't firm yet. This allows you to contact several sitters and have meet and greets. You aren't charged until the booking request is finalized by both the sitter and you.

To add just a little more and the "why", you have to select dates in order for the system to determine who might be available.

You can put a future date (say a month out) and should absolutely indicate in your request message that you are visiting with a couple of sitters to find the best fit for a TBD trip date. Quality sitters will not be offended ;) They will understand and appreciate the care you show for your pets!
