For me it took about a week and a half, a well written profile with plenty of pictures of you and your pet/s should be a priority, also, maybe bring your prices down at first, just so you can get things going, once you have a few good reviews, you can adjust your rates.

For some sitters requests come quickly, for many it can take a long time; months can pass without a bite. There can be lots of competition in your area and established sitters getting the most bookings.
