Does Rover charge the owner extra for 30 mins+ extra time on the Rover Card?

Just as a disclaimer, I DON'T want it to do that and I'm pretty sure this is a silly question, since they "pay ahead of time". But I just want to double check so I'm not accidentally being a total jerk.

I wanted to give a little extra drop in time, free of charge, to these dogs/owners that deserved it, but I wanted to make sure the timer on the visit/card is just to show how long you were there, nothing else yknow?

The client is only charged the rate for the event. Time on the Rover Card is only informational.

No Rover does not auto add charges to the booking. Doing so would put them in an “employer” role. Rover needs sitters as “independent contractors” to avoid legal requirements (health insurance, FICA withholding, direct liability etc.)
