Why can't I tip more than 30%?
I want to give a generous tip to the sitter who watched our dog and house over the holiday weekend, but it only lets me tip 30%. I wanted to tip almost double that, but why on earth does Rover block me from tipping higher than 30%?
You sound like a really nice person, definitely do what you can for anyone you feel good about that did a good job taking care of your loved ones. Forgive Rover corporate, there a bit stupid. We sitters see many examples of that in there business decisions all the time.
As a former pet sitter via Rover, now a pet owner, I too tried to tip over 30% and was surprised to find the limit. As a rule I try to tip to cover the 20% Rover takes from the sitter's base, then tack on a bit of extra as the true 'tip'.
