The Rover app will not open addresses in Google maps; How do I fix this issue?

I get a message saying "Google Maps is not installed or is disabled" or "no app found to open directions". I do have Google maps installed and enabled on my phone.

Could be a problem with your phone. Log out of the Rover app, not just close it. Then do a hard reset on your phone, then check to see if you need to update the Rover app. Best of luck
