Annoying & messy! Especially w/multiple sitter inquiries: From Rover Sep 25, 2021: At this time, there isn't a way to proactively archive or delete a request. The request will naturally move to the Archived Requests section of your inbox a couple of days after the requested service dates have passed

So now I have to redo the request to pursue other sitters who are available......nice Rover!

There's nothing you, as the customer, can do. The sitter is the only one who needs to archive the conversation. On your side, it will only go away when the dates pass. This has been brought to Rover's attention many times and they've chosen not to do anything.

This app is useless because of that exact reason. I don't want to see a bunch of profiles of people who told me they will not watch my dog and are two lazy or stupid to use the app properly. I have had zero success with this ridiculous lack of service. Plus there is zero security background checks.
