Do any of your sitters in the Boone NC area offer in-home sitting for pet birds?

I have a green cheek conure in a large cage who cannot travel with us. Would like someone to house sit so that my bird can keep his regular routine.

Rover Customer Service does not come here to answer any questions. You have two choices: (1) call Rover at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] for assistance or

(2) Look through the listings for a house sitter. Even though there is no search filter about birds, many house sitters regularly care for pets other than dogs and cats. I've seen people state they can take care of ferrets, hamsters, birds and reptiles. But you would have to contact them and ask.

Be sure to thoroughly interview any potential sitters and make sure you have told them what you are expecting because house sitting is interpreted very differently by Rover sitters. Some will only stay from about 7 pm to 7 am (example) and others will totally move in, but also do walks for other clients during the day or they may have a job. So it is best to ask.

Good luck!
