I have two dogs. A sitter I have chosen said the first dog is $25 and the second dog is $7 for a total of $32 per drop in visit of 30 minutes. I filled out my request and submitted it to Rover. Theysaid the cost per dog is $28 for a total of $56 per 30 minute visit.
Is there a reduced fee for multiple pets at the same visit?
If you are addressing this question to Rover, they don't come here to answer questions. However, the people who use this board will be either Rover sitters or customers.
As for your question, there can be a reduced rate for multiple pets at one location and that is up to the sitter. All sitters are independent and set their own rates, procedures and policies. Since the sitter told you how much it should have been, reach back out to that sitter and ask him/her to correct it. It is possible that your sitter did not fill in the rate table properly, but he/she should be able to correct it easily. Rover itself is not going to fix it if you call them directly. They would need the sitter to verify the proper billing amount, so it is just easier to contact that sitter and ask him/her to look into. I do hope that you didn't authorize payment yet.
