What to charge for special additional services?

I will be boarding two dogs for a client for two nights during her wedding weekend. On the evening of her wedding, she has asked if I can (1) bring her two dogs from my home to their wedding venue, (2) assist with photos so the dogs can be in her wedding photos, and (3) bring the dogs back to my home. I can definitely do this, and I'm excited to! I'm just wondering what I might charge for these additional services, and how I should list the services (pick-up/drop-off? something different?). Am I able to add a customizable additional service (assist with photo shoot)? Thank you in advance!

Yes, the Cost Adjustment is done before the booking is finalized. You should definitely add on something that reflects your time as well. Even though you are boarding the dogs--and that does imply 24 hours of care--it doesn't necessarily require the same amount of your time.

Rather than coming up with an hourly rate, you might want to consider establishing a pickup/dropoff charge that includes the whole thing just for this client and occasion. It might be easier this way. Once this booking is over, then you can reduce that service charge to a basic level.

I had a regular client who boarded her dog with me when she got married and for the honeymoon period. I remember giving her a couple of free nights of boarding as a wedding gift. She had been a regular for years.

Yes, you can charge for pick up/drop off, which is a round trip charge. And/Or... You can apply a Cost Adjustment (since it will show Cost Adjustment, I use the message field to explain what it's for. )
