My sitter did not turn up - but I was charged for the booking - how can I get a refund?

I have been unable to get any helpful information from Rover. Has this happened to anyone else?
I think Rover is just a scam? Its the first time I used them. I've now been charged nearly $100 for nothing. I have been to the park twice to meet this supposed sitter, but she did not turn up either time, yet rover has charged me for both meetings.

Rover takes responsibility for NOTHING! It's up to the pet owner to pursue a refund...pet sitter not held accountable. I, too, am fighting for a refund. Rover's policy also states that it is up to the pet owner to do their due diligence...research the PET SITTER themselves! UNBELIEVABLE!!

Call Rover Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]. BTW, there are no charges simply to meet a sitter. Meet & Greets are free.
