How do I book a sitter at my other address?

Hi Rover,

I signed up for an account using my Eagle-Vail address, but I also need dog sitting services at my Denver address. Do you allow for two addresses and if so, how do I set that up? When I search for sitters in the Denver area, it says "xyz is too far from you" because it's recognizing my Eagle-Vail address.

Alicia, this really shouldn't be an issue. I have had people contact me when they were visiting from out of town and bringing their dog but the dog couldn't stay where they were. Even though you are getting that message, are you prevented from contacting the sitter? If so, then contact Rover Customer Support because I know it is possible to book a sitter in a different location and you shouldn't have to set up two different profiles.

It isn't possible to have two stored addresses on the Rover platform, with one profile. Many Rover sitters who service several areas have asked for this along with their clients. All you can do is change your address every time you need to book a service at a specific location. Or you can try to create a separate Rover profile for each location, but you will need different email addresses and phone numbers than your original profile. Sorry if this is a pain but the platform setup is what it is

Walt, she wants to book a sitter. This shouldn't be an issue.

Karen You know how well the algorithm works, having a local address helps find a sitter, and when the sitter gets the request, they won't get a message "out-of-area" request.

But I have had 2 such requests of people from out of town.
