Cancel Bookings due to Lockdown?

My area has just gone into lock down once again. We are in York Region (grey zone) which means everything I do should only be put of absolute necessity. Some of my up coming clients in December are going on vacation. This makes me nervous as they will be exposing me as well as my entire household to a risk. I have an elderly father. It makes me worry that I am following procedures to keep my family and I safe, while my clients may not be. I want to except who are only on their way to work, not on their way back in the country. I also do not want to put anyone out with their trip coming up but it is not worth risking the safety if my loved ones. Should I cancel? Or is there anything else I can do?

Don't do anything you aren't comfortable with. It isn't worth possibly risking the life of your father! Apologize, and briefly explain to the clients that your father is at high risk and you (and your father's doctor!) do not feel it would be safe. Surely there are other sitters who can help.
