Meet n Greet/Dog Walk?

A client recently asked me if, instead of a meet and greet, he could just come along with me on my first walk. I agreed, and we scheduled the walk. What I didn't think about at the time was that I would be charging him to come on the walk with me!

I'm not sure what the fix for this is. It has already been booked. What would you do in this situation?

The client said no to the M&G yet wanted to walk with you on the first walk. I wouldn't worry about giving them any credit or refund as this was the client's choice.

Just to make sure I understand, your concern is that you charged him for "meet and greet" by charging him for the "first walk"?
If this is what your concern is, you can offer a credit to the clients account for 1/2 off or even the full "walk charge " you then have the choice to call Rover Support to to credit back an amount to the owner or you can let the owner know if will be 1/2 off for his next walk or a free walk next time he books. just remember to do a cost adjustment when he does book again.

Agree with Walt, there's no need to credit the client if you performed a full 30-minute walk. You spent the time and performed a service. It doesn't like the client had an issue with it, most likely because he recognizes that you did walk the dog.
