Why is our 18 month old Boston terrier rescue dog only nipping me?

asked 2020-11-08 20:56:01 -0500

My husband and I recently adopted a 18 month old Boston terrier. Unneutered. Unsocialized. We are the 3rd home in his short life. We had him neutered, and that has helped with his interactions with our other BT, but we have noticed he is much better behaved with my husband than me! He is constantly on me, nipping, flipping, and no matter what will not settle down with me. The only time I really get with him is when I take him for walks. We will be signing up for behavior classes, but in the meantime what suggestions do you have for me to enjoy him more? Thank you for your input. This is not our first rescue, but he has been our biggest challenge by far.
