What to do when a Booking is canceled?

No, you don't cancel the booking since it is already in progress. You can offer the customer a partial or full refund for the day(s) not used that would be consistent with the cancellation policy you've chosen on your profile. After the dog is picked up at the earlier time, you would call Rover Support and have them issue a refund of whatever amount you tell them.
My customer's messages me to let me now if they plans change and they need to cancel the stay (I take care of the cancelation process for them) I do a full refund of the money by canceling the stay and notifying rover, either by calling them or messaging them. Some sitters only offer partial refund only.
This is not a cancellation of an entire stay. The dog is already at the sitter's home and is getting picked up earlier than scheduled.
