The group is for Rover sitter's only and they require a Rover URL to verify Rover membership and an approved profile.

I had trouble getting into that group. They are really strict and I didn't feel comfortable opening up my profile for one group. I get accepted into other groups that are fine with my profile.
I'm not sure what you're referring to? If your name/picture on facebook matches what is on your Rover profile, it shouldn't be a problem to confirm you are a Rover sitter. But if your name/picture don't match you may have to show a little more to prove that you are the owner of the Rover profile you link to. It's just to be absolutely sure that only current Rover sitters are in the group.
What are some of the other groups you joined? i'd be interested to know! :)
Yeah, I tried to prove that I am who I am but I was not approved. I like to keep my FB annon but it's not that hard to figue out that my nickname on FB is me on Rover. But I did join some Pet Professional groups.
