Formally the sitter is not provided your home address prior to the booking request being accepted by the sitter and then finalized by you, if the service you are booking requires the sitter to come to you; walks, drop-ins or house sits. However, most sitters will ask you for your address almost immediately so they can meet at your home for the meet and greet.
