When should I "book" a walk??

Hi everyone. I've got a client who's asked me to walk their dog. When exactly should I hit book? a few minutes before the walk? a few hours before? days before? does it really matter? I've done dog sitting jobs before, but I've never been asked to walk someones dog through rover. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If it's a new owner/dog I will usually press book after I leave the Meet and Greet. If it's a repeat client I usually press book after I let owner know I'm available for the walk(s) and the details are worked out. No need to wait until the day of.

The first thing you should do is schedule a meet and greet prior to accepting any booking request. After the M&G and you and the client agree you are a good fit you can click the accept button, then the client is also asked to accept and finalize the request.
