Can I purchase credits or a gift card for for a friend to redeem as needed?

I don't see exactly how that can be done. I checked out the rover store and didn't see any at https://store.rover.com
Maybe give her a pre-paid credit card or if she has a planned need book it in advance with her desired sitter
