Why is there a maximum number of conversations?

I'm trying to find a sitter but due to short notice, most are unavailable and now it says I can't request for 2 days....

This just happened to me as well and due to it being last minute it’s extremely frustrating.

I'd suggest call Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] and ask them to help find a sitter who matches your needs. Rover staff have additional search filters available and can help you.

It may be rover implemented a change to avoid someone creating a fictitious account (with no intention of booking any service) and contacting lots of sitters. That used to happen some times.

Definitely call Customer Support as Deb advises. I don't know how many sitters you've contacted but when I needed a last-minute sitter for an overnight (due to a cancellation), I must have had to contact nearly 20 people and didn't run up against any limits. That was nearly two years ago. Maybe something has changed.

Good luck!
