I need to physically communicate with someone. Everything requests me to schedule a date for services. I want to meet the person to introduce them to my K9s, (4)?

why is this so difficult? I tried a few months back with the same results. The person I picked who lived in my town, http://Rover.com was telling me we lived too far apart???

I understand your frustration with using the platform. Pet care providers and owners have shared wishes on optimizing the web site. Don't let the date hold you back. It requires that so that when it lists pet care walks or sitters, it will exclude those whose availability doesn't match. Likewise, when you enter where you live, it should exclude those who are not available in your neighborhood. I have no additional knowledge why that person was too far away, but I'd guess that may apply if your town is very large or if they are trying to only service a very small radius that they can walk to from their home. Anyhow, all these search formalities just help start the conversation with the sitter or walker, nothing is booked until both parties click the Book It Now function (ideally after meeting or at least exchanging detailed information).

If you need help finding someone, another option is to call Rover Customer Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]. They can use additional filters to try and suggest some possible matches.

Hi!

Just as said, there could absolutely be some improvements but once you get the hang of Rover it's manageable. Most of us have felt your frustration at one point or other and so we feel for you. Just to reiterate what Walt said because this is key - initiating a booking is the only way to contact sitters, however just because you initiate does not mean you will end up booking with that sitter. In fact, Rover recommends contacting 2-3 sitters for you to meet and decide, along with the sitters, which is the best fit for you and your pets. So, rather than thinking of it as a
