Payment problem ?

Just did a meet and greet, went well. we agreed to make the arrangements. I went in and clicked make appointment. Attempted to pay, filled out everything properly, got a red box saying card could not be processed at this time, any questions contact customer support. I actually tried two cards, both in very good shape. Do I need to wait for the "sitter" to accept first ?
