Does a 30-minute walk include the time it takes a walker/sitter to walk to and from his/her car?

If I book a 30 minute drop-in session, do Rover sitters/walkers deduct time from the overall 30 minutes for walking to and from their car to my unit?

Ex: I book a 30 minute dog walk. The walker arrives at the building at 10 AM. Takes 2-5 minutes to walk to my apartment and arrives 10:05. Plays/walks with the dog for 20 minutes minutes. Leaves and takes another 2-5 minutes to walk to his/her car. So instead of giving my dog 30 minutes of activity, he/she is providing 20 minutes and deducting 10 minutes (5 min *2) from the interaction I paid for.

My employer doesn't pay me to drive to and from work. So why am I paying for time spent traveling to and from one's car?

Does Rover have a standard procedure in place for quantifying time spent with a client's pet?

Every Rover walker is an independent contractor who works off the Rover platform. We are all different and manage our bookings as we see fit and in accordance with the agreement of the client; there is no standard. Each booking is of a 30 minute duration and with no guarantee that your dog will be walked for 30 minutes, but this is something to discuss directly with your walker. If you aren't satisfied with your current walker I am pretty confident you can find one who will work with you on your requirements.

Thanks, Walt. The site defines a visit, "Drop-In Visits: Sitters stop by your home for 30 minutes to feed and play with your dog http://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/articles/205979666-What-services-does-Rover-offer- (support.rover.com/hc/en-us/articles/205979666-What-services-does-Rover-offer-) That being said, I'll now clarify with future walkers their definition of a 30 minute visit.
