Wondering if I should cancel my booking and search again?

We are new to Rover and we booked a sitter for an overnight stay. We booked this well over a month ago and now the stay is only 5 days away. My last correspondence from the sitter was 20 days ago and she was all set to meet. Since then I have reached out through Rover messaging to schedule a meet and greet but have not had a reply. Is it possible that my messages are not getting through? I am accustomed to calling/emailing/texting directly so I'm not sure if my messages are not getting through or if our sitter just had a change of heart and just doesn't want to do sitting anymore. No one is so busy that a simple reply is too much. Any advice from experienced sitters would be appreciated. Not sure why this has been so darn difficult. I contacted several sitters with no response at all and thought for sure that we had finally found someone reliable. It's frustrating and really is disheartening as I thought we would be dealing with people that love their dogs as much as we do.
