How to modify same day booking?

My client had a Daycare booking today. She had to cancel due to illness but wants to change dates. Should she just cancel and rebook? Would she get charged twice since our Policy is Moderate? Or, can we modify the booking once the "Day" has already started?

It's always within your power to waive cancellation fees. And oftentimes, a savvy customer retention move. 😉

Call support [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] and they can easily modify the date for you. If the current booking is canceled the client will be charged the cancellation fee.

I've modified dates quite a few times. I'm sure I've modified on the day through the Modify option. Or you can go the cancel & rebook route and contact Rover to reimburse or you can adjust the price of the next booking. Or you can call or open a ticket with Rover and have them make whatever changes you want. It's really up to you. I personally would rather do it all myself then contact Rover as it's quicker for me, but that's just my preference. I know this has already passed but thought I'd let you know my experience in case it happens again. Good luck!
